Yes, the Gen-Y 3-Ball Mount for 2-Inch Hitch Receivers # 325-GH-054 has a solid steel shank. The solid shank accounts for much of the 19-lb shipping weight of this USA-made 3-ball mount. Overall length is 12-inches. You can refer to the linked side-view photo to see the solid steel shank. Please note that the towing capacities differ for each size of hitch ball.
