By hitch I assume you are referring to a ball mount/drawbar as your 2011 Chevy Suburban should have a factory trailer hitch receiver already on it.
To tow a trailer or RV with a hitch weight (also known as tongue weight) of 1,300 lbs and a gross weight (or GVWR) of 11,460 lbs you are going to need a ball mount with at least those capacities.
Assuming that your '11 Suburban has a 2" trailer hitch receiver and your RV has a coupler that accepts a 2-5/16" hitch ball the best ball mount is the Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount # C45900. This ball mount has a tongue weight capacity of 1,400 lbs and two hitch balls, including a 2-5/16" ball that has a towing capacity of 14,000 lbs; it also has a 2" hitch ball with a 10,000 lb capacity.
The Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount # C45900 includes a hitch pin and clip and will give you a maximum rise of 5-1/4" or maximum drop of 6". I have added a link to a help article on ball mounts which details how to determine the correct rise and drop if you are unsure of the amount you need. I have also added a photo for you showing how this ball mount looks when installed.
If you need a larger rise or drop a great option is the EZ Heavy Duty Adjustable Hitch with Combo Ball # AM3298 which will give you a maximum rise and drop of 8"; this ball mount has a 2-5/16" hitch ball with a 14,000 lb capacity and 2" hitch ball with a 10,000 lb capacity and a tongue weight capacity of 1,500 lbs. You will need Pin and Clip # PC3 or Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880 to keep this ball mount secured in your receiver.
I have added a link to a video reviews of both ball mounts for you to take a look at.
