Replacement Roof Vent Lid with Hinge Screws on Either End

Question:

I have a 1987 Signature Travelmaster 23. The roof vent has a screw at each end of the hinge instead of the bendable tabs. Have you seen this type before? Do you have a replacement for this type? Thanks.

I haven't heard of anything factory that has that screw on each end of the hinge. It sounds like somebody simply chose to add the screws. We do not have a replacement for that specific cover if it was an off-brand replacement with that design.

My recommendation is to go with one of the standard 4 types of covers whichever best fits your application. It sounds like the Vent Cover for Ventline Old-Style Rounded Dome Trailer Roof Vents - Smoke # BV0554-03 with the bendable hinge may be the correct fit. I've attached a video to assist and have linked a photo of the 4 options. I've also linked the page to all the replacement options.

The other option we have is the MaxxAir UniMaxx Universal Replacement Lid for RV and Trailer Roof Vent - Translucent White # MA00-335001 or smoke # MA00-335002.
