Trailer Tire Replacement for Size F78/14ST on 4,000 lb Axle

Question:
what load range should you use with 4,000 lbs single axle ? Previous tires were B F Goodrich F78/14 ST

Your trailer tire size F78-14st is an older tire size. The new label for that tire size is ST205/75-14. They are the same tire basically. For use with a 4,000 lb axle though you'd need a Load Range D to ensure you have the capacity needed. For that we have the Kenda ST205/75-14 # AM10235 which has a capacity of 2,200 lbs when inflated to 75 psi.
