Question:
Hello! I noticed this model says that it accepts a 1 or a 1 1/4inch ball mount. How is that possible? Would it be better to buy a 1 or 1/4inch ball mount in this case for best fit? Also, what is the weight of the entire hitch? Finally, I need to attach this to a Rustic Trail Teardrop Kodiak Stealth Just wanted to make sure I dont need any additional parts other than the ball Thanks!

The Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control part # BXW0350 will require a hitch ball with a 1" diameter shank or a hitch ball with a 1-1/4" diameter shank, not a ball mount. For this, I recommend using a hitch ball with a 1-1/4" diameter shank like part # A-90. The 1-1/4" diameter shank is going to give you a tighter fit. The entire system weighs around 80 lbs.
In order to determine if this will work on your Rustic Trail Teardrop Kodiak Stealth you are going to need to do a bit of measuring. I seen that the trailer has an odd shaped a-frame in which the tongue extends out further than normal and it has a large basket on the front. Therefore, in order for the Blue Ox SwayPro to work you need to measure from the center of the coupler on the trailer back 29". This is where the frame brackets will sit and they need to have space on the frame rail to mount.
If you can send me a photo of this spot on the frame rail that is positioned 29" back from the center of the coupler, I would be glad to give you my best guess on compatibility or if we have another system better for you.
