Question:

Will the Torklift TCL2223 fit 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Double Cab Short Bed with the factory 4inch step? The step extends about 5inch behind the truck cab. I looks like the TCL2223 was designed with a offset to allow for the factory steps. factory hitch

For your 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Double Cab with the 6-1/2" bed you are going to want to use the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs part # TLC2223 and part # TLC3215. I called my contact at TorkLift and they were able to confirm that there will not be any issues with your nerf bars. The only issue with nerf bars is if they are bed length, not cab length like you have.
