WHAT IS THE LABOR TIME ON INSTALLING A BLOCK HEATER IN A 2014 HYUNDAI TUCSON?

Expert Reply:
Installing a block heater in your 2014 Hyundai Tucson should take less than 1 hour of labor time. For your vehicle the heater I recommend is the Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater - Cartridge Style # KH11812 which installs in the Front Left if you have the 2.4L or the Right Rear if you have the 2.0 Turbo Conventional engine.
To install:
1) Locate cartridge hole on the engine block.
2) Clean cartridge hole of all debris. Use compressed air.
3) Attach cord to heater.
4) Install heater into the hole. Rotate the clip on the cord to the proper position to secure the heater and cord to the engine block and heater.
5) Route the cord through the grill, using cable ties to prevent the cord from getting in contact with any hot or moving parts.
