Question:

Greetings, Im helping a neighbour install the 49inch light bar on a 98 Toyota Tacoma SR5. There is no trailer harness on his truck. Id appreciate any help you can provide on the wiring configuration. Attached are pics of the harness feeding the drivers side tail light assembly. Thanks so much

The Rampage SuperBrite LED Tailgate Light Bar - Stop, Tail, Turn, Reverse - 4-Pole Flat - 49" Long # RA960137 will use the functions from both the right and left side of the truck. I recommend using the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118379 which will allow you to simply connect the light bar without any splicing required.

If you want to hardwire the light bar, you will want to double check with a circuit tester like # PTW2993 but I believe the white with black tracer is your ground, the red with black tracer is the running lights, the green wire with white tracer is the turn signal. I haven't tested this because I don't have your particular vehicle available to test. This looks correct based on my research, but I definitely recommend confirming with a circuit tester before splicing into your wires. If you go this route, I recommend using connectors like # DW05744-5.
