What Wheel Pilot Diameter Does Center Cap # LHCS102 Fit

Question:

ok folks, My 15 inch wheel has a 3.25 bore. using a scale. I cant get my 6 inch calipers in there. So the 3.19 part would have .030 inch per side of clearance. 3.25 -3.19 = .060. Is this right or is the wheel bore needing to be 3.19? you have to have some clearance.

3.19 inch is one of the most common pilot diameters seen on trailer wheels so I believe that you would most likely need the center cap # LHCS102 that you referenced since you weren't able to get an exact measurement, but if you really do have a pilot diameter of 3.25 inch this center cap would be too small and it would fall out. 3.19 is the diameter of the cap where it passes through the wheel and does not include the lip around the edge.
