Solution for Trailer Light Grounded to Frame that's Not Activating

Question:
Grounded the white wire to the frame clean and good tight fit. Tried to hock up the black to the tail lights but no luck. Do I need a jumper to make this work or what. Stumped.

Typically grounding a trailer light to the frame is enough to allow the light to activate. Since this is a golf cart application I'd recommend trying to run the ground wire of the light directly to the negative side of your battery and you should see it work like it should.
