Is there a Video that Shows How to Perform the Fishwire Technique to Install a Trailer Hitch

Question:
After looking at the frame of my Envoy I have a few concerns. Only one hole goes completely through the frame on both sides of the vehicle and the frame. Do the bolts travel through the frame? the frame is 3 inches thick. If the hardware is fish wired do you have a video or diagrams on how to perform it on a Envoy? Thanks for your time and effort.

The CURT Front Mount Receiver, # 31055, does bolt to the vehicle frame rails but the bolts do not go all the way through each frame rail. Instead, like you have said, you will fishwire the hardware into the inside of each frame rail through access holes in the frame.
The fishwire technique is not as difficult as you might think. Even though I do not have a video showing the hitch being installed on a 2006 GMC Envoy, I can provide a link that explains and shows how to fishwire hardware. I have actually included two videos that should help you.
I have also included a link to an FAQ article, part of which covers the fishwire technique. I have also included a link to the hitch installation instructions for you.
