Replacement for Dexter Axle Beam 6508174
Published 09/11/2018 >
Question:
I am wondering if you can tell will the Never-adjust brake assembly and bearing from my axle fit this 3500. lb straight. I plan to move the straight axle above the spring bottom spring perch - camber up. The axle part number Dex# 6508174 with Dexter Never-Adjust brake assemblies.

Yes, the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes and Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly that you have on your Dexter Trailer Axle Beam 6508174 will fit on the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles part # 7359765 without any additional modifications. I called my contact at Dexter to confirm this.
The only thing you need to check is your spring center and hub face measurements which should be 80" and 95" respectively.
