Recommended Cargo Carrier for Winnebago Minnie Winnie Class C Motorhome
Updated 09/10/2018 | Published 09/08/2018 >
Question:
This carrier is listed as an RV compatible carrier. I am looking at this carrier to use this on a 2006 Winnebago Minnie Winnie Class C Motorhome. Looking for confirmation that this carrier is compatible/safe for use on the back of a Class C Motorhome.

I do have an option for you, however I did check with MaxxTow and they do not recommend using the 27x47 Cargo Carrier that you referenced behind a motorhome. Its aluminum construction isn't designed to withstand the extra bounce and movement that it would experience when attached to the rear of an RV like your Winnebago Minnie Winnie.
A better option will be with the Curt 24x60 Cargo Carrier # C18152. This carrier features a sturdier steel construction and a fixed shank that is much better suited for this type of application. It also has a raised shank that will give you a bit more ground clearance when the carrier is attached. I have attached a short video demonstration on this carrier that you can also check out.
