Question:
Just received the lock from you nice lock but I’m confused about the two different size ball. I have a 2 inch ball but the smaller adapter is very loos and the larger one for 2-5/16 is to large am I expecting the smaller one to fit my trailer that loose or do I not have the correct one. Thanks

There are two different size cone's with the BOLT Trailer Coupler Lock part # BL7032493. The small cone is for 1-7/8" and 2" trailer couplers whereas the large cone is for 2-5/16" trailer couplers. There are several different types of trailer couplers which means that this lock will not be a perfect match for all. If the lock will not stay in place while using the smaller disc then it can be returned under warranty. These will be a bit of play inside the coupler but the lock should still be secure.
If you choose to return the BOLT Trailer Coupler Lock I recommend taking a look at the Fastway Universal Trailer Coupler Lock part # FA86-0015-318 which should be a much tighter fit for your trailer.
