Parts Needed to Tow a Trailer with Brakes 2015 Ford Transit T350
Question:
Hello, I’m looking to put a hitch and brake controller on my 2015 Ford Transit 350 XLT Wagon low roof. It does not currently have any pre wiring for the controller I am aware of. My cart has the hitch Curt Receiver C13193, Tekonsha OEM Harness 22116 and Tekonsha P3 brake controller 90195. Two questions: 1. Do I need to purchase a bracket to mount the plug from the harness to the hitch? It does not appear to come with one. 2. Are there any additional items you would recommend adding to ease the installation? I would like to order today or tomorrow to allow it time to arrive to install next weekend. Thank you,

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13193, Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 22116, and Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 are all confirmed fits for your 2015 Ford Transit T350 and will give you everything you need to tow a trailer with brakes.
In order to mount the 7-way trailer connector to the trailer hitch receiver I recommend using the 7-Way Trailer Connector Mounting Box part # 18159 which does not require any drilling. The hitch comes with fish wire and the wiring harness comes with wiring connectors so you won't really need anything else for installation expect common tools.
I have attached a review and install video for you as well.
