What adapter do you recommend to use in conjunction with this wiring harness for my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek in order to tow my Little Guy Mypod travel trailer with a 7 pole wire?

For your 2017 Subaru Crosstrek, I recommend starting with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56040. This installs to a factory wiring harness located behind the interior trim panel in your cargo area. You will then need to run this wire to the outside of your vehicle through one of the rubber grommets or along a trim panel.
Then you will use the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 to give you the 7-way you need as well as the wiring, circuit breakers, and connectors needed to add the 12V power and brake controller functions on your 7-way. I've attached a video as well as an article to assist with the wiring of this adapter. If you don't need the 12V power or the brake controller output connection, then you can simply use and adapter like # 30717 to run the 4-way wiring and make sure you connect the white ground wire of the adapter.
If your Little Guy Mypod travel trailer has the optional trailer brakes, then I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 for your brake controller.
