Question:
Hi I have a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Do I need to disconnect the battery while flat towing. We have the Patriot brake system. If we need to disconnect battery should I get power from The RV? Or can we just put the key in accessory position for the trip. Thanks

When flat towing your 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 the battery does need to be disconnected so what you'd need to power the Blue Ox Patriot part # BLU37TR is the outlet kit part # RM-9332. This wires directly to the vehicle battery to draw power from so that when the battery is disconnected the braking system still has power.
