Question:
I am thinking of purchasing a 2018 Explorer. Will these fit in the factory installed roof side rails? I have them on my Leer cap. I also have a Thule roof rack system for my Ford 150. I’m wondering if they are compatible with the Explorer. Also, I need to order several of these parts as I broke one. Thank you!

We have a similar Thule roof rack setup that does fit the flush rails you have on the roof of your 2018 Ford Explorer but the # 753-2149 is not what you need. Instead the kit you'd need is the part # THKIT3151 which fits the flush rails and allows you to install an Aeroblade Edge roof rack like the part # TH7603-TH7604 which will give you an OEM appearing Thule rack that will minimize wind noise and fuel mileage lost.
I attached an install video on a similar 2016 Explorer for you to check out as well.
