Which Direction Should Shock of Lippert Trailer Suspension System Face

Question:
Single axle install. Does top of shock and bracket install in a forward direction from the axle?

Expert Reply:
I checked with Lippert and the upper part of the jack should point away from the rear hanger. So if you check out the picture I attached you'll see that the shock "leans" towards the front of the trailer.
