Trailer Hitch Recommendation for Fitting Bus with 40 inch Wide Frame

Question:
I need to know whats the width of this hitch I want to adapt it to a school bus wich has a frame width of 40inch outside to outside and wondering if this hitch would work

I have a great solution for you, but the Torklift hitch part # TLF1002 wasn't designed for use on anything but the vehicles it was made for and shouldn't be used on a school bus. Instead we have the Draw Tite Hitch part # 41990 which when used with the 7 inch drop brackets part # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets part # 4916 would work well. The cross tube of this trailer is 44 inches in length too so it would be plenty long for a 40 inch wide frame.
