Hi, Why is there a significant price difference between these two fans? Is it because of the material used in the rain shield? Also, is there a much daylight lost between the black smoked rain shield and white? Cant decide tween the two. I would like to order one of the fans.

The two MaxxFan Deluxe 12V Roof Vent products you referenced, parts # MA00-07000K and # MA00-07500K, are identical apart from color. The smoked lid model # MA00-07500K will typically let in slightly less light than the white lid model # MA00-07000K but there is not a huge difference.
Price variance between the different color versions of the same product can be a result of different production quantities. If one is far more popular and made in much larger quantities it will typically have a lower price than the less-popular one that is manufactured in smaller quantities.
