Is 27-1/2 inch RV Step Mounting Bracket Width Normal Size

on the 25 3/4 step the over all mounting width is 27 1/2. on the 24inch inch step the mounting width is still 27 1/2

27-1/2 inch wide mounting brackets is very common for RV steps as that's what is most commonly seen on RVs. That's why RV steps like the part # LC432687 have overall widths that match that.
