Where can I get replacement hinges and latches? I see where others are being referred to Thule. Are their parts compatable w my old carrier?

For your old X-Cargo roof box, you will want the Replacement Master Parts Bag for X-Cargo Model 28 Cargo Box # TH04870. This will give you all the hardware you need to make your box functional.
You can alternatively use the Replacement Latch for SportRack Explorer Cargo Box # 03347 and the Replacement Spring Hinge for SportRack Explorer Cargo Box # SR03810 for the hinge.
