Running lights on trailer suddenly wont work but blinking and brake lights still work

First thing to check is for corrosion on the trailer wiring connectors on the running light circuit. Nearly everytime a single circuit stops working on trailer wiring it's due to corrosion in the connectors preventing the connection being made. Sometimes it can be a bent or damaged pin too.
