4-Way Mounting Bracket Needed for the Hopkins # HM11143445 Wiring Kit
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
Wondering if I ordered the wrong 4-pole flat mounting bracket. I ordered # 18144. I used Hopkins wiring kit # HM11143445. There was no way the plug would fit into the bracket. Either the bracket hole was too thin or the plug was too thick. I could not make it fit even if I used a hammer. Is there a special way to make the plug fit the hole? Your help is appreciated.

The Hopkins Connector # HM11143445 that you referenced, for some reason or another, has a slightly larger 4-Way connector than standard 4-Way connectors. We have actually tested the Tow Ready # 18144 with Hopkins connectors before and found that they are not compatible which is why we posted a note to the product page addressing this issue.
We do have the Hopkins # HM48595 that is compatible with your current connector though. I have attached a review video for you to check out.
