I just need a new bracket for the plug, can you get just a mounting bracket for this plug style ?

For just the mounting bracket for the Hopkins 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets # HM40975-11998 that you referenced, you will need the Replacement Mounting Bracket # HM40978. This is a direct replacement and will work perfectly to mount the connector to your hitch or bumper.
