Can the Thule TH490002 be adapted to fit on a Pioneer Platform? I would like to mount the Thule Awning to a mid roof ford transit wagon that has a platform on it. Thanks

I do have an option for you, however the Thule TracRac Ladder Rack Adapter # TH490002 referenced in your question is designed to work with the TracRac Ladder Racks. It cannot be adapted to fit a Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform like # RR42115BF.
If you have a Pioneer Platform on your Ford Transit, you can use a vehicle awning like the Rhino-Rack Sunseeker # RR32133 or the Batwing # RR33100. Both of these awnings include the brackets needed to attach them to the Pioneer Platforms.
