Troubleshooting No Power to Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack

Question:

I tried it on my 2011 Tahoe and it won’t work so I tried it on a 2016 f150 and nothing. Not even light turns on. This is the second one I exchanged thinking it was a bad jack.

If you aren't getting any power to your Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-3555, I recommend checking to make sure it has a solid ground connection. This jack grounds through its mounting hardware, so you will want to make sure that there isn't any debris or corrosion between the jack and the surface on the trailer where it mounts. You can try removing the jack and cleaning the surface before reinstalling to see if it helps.
