Question:
Hi 1986 Chevy Tahoe - We have a 14ft 80 pd. Kayak coming and my I was wondering if I could use a truck load extender to load it up in the back of the Tahoe and use the lift extender to grab the extended part? Can I do it?

I assume by Tahoe you are referring to a 1986 Chevy Suburban and you can use the Erickson Big Bed Junior Load Extender # EM07605 so long as you are comfortable with the rear of your Suburban being open.
There are some measurements you should be aware of to ensure you have the proper clearance; the Load Extender # EM07605 will extend 4 feet from your your hitch receiver and can adjust in height from 17" to 24".
To use the extender you also need Pin and Clip # PC3 to secure it to your hitch and ratchet straps such as # EM34415 to secure your kayak to the extender; you may also need to use Mesh Safety Flag # EM05308 depending on how long your kayak will extend out.
