If your 2010 Land Rover Range Rover has the factory tow package then I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is one of the most reliable brake controllers that we have which is reflected in the massive amount of positive reviews left by customers.
The P3 is a proportional brake controller that will apply the brakes on your trailer at the same time and with the same intensity as the brakes in your vehicle. The best feature about this brake controller is the LCD screen that makes operation and diagnosing any problems much easier than an older controller that only uses codes.
For this to work with your Land Rover you simply need the Adapter # 3035-P which plugs into the OEM connector under your driver's side dash.
I tried looking up your order but wasn't able to find anything that led me to a brake controller. If you can confirmed your order number or which brake controller you have and what lights and warning messages are turning on I can try to do some troubleshooting on my end.
