Updated 07/05/2018 | Published 07/03/2018 >
Question:
Having issues putting the 10mm bolts in. Cleaned and brushed holes, but it seems the bolts are to big and won’t thread in for a Draw tite hitch 75684 for Santa Fe 2011? Any suggestion on what to do? Just received hitch today July 3, 2018.

Although it is possible that you do not have the correct bolts, I believe you will find that they will fit just fine if you would clean the bolt holes before installing them. This a pretty common problem and in basically every situation cleaning out the weld nuts is all that's needed to get the bolts to fit.
Try soaking those nuts that are welded into the frame with a spray lubricant such as WD 40. Let the lubricant sit for several minutes, then scrub thoroughly with a wire brush. The brush on a battery terminal cleaner works great. Once scrubbed, spray them out again with the lubricant, then install the bolts.
I also attached a help article on cleaning weld nuts for you to check out as well.
