Question:
Hello I was servicing my boat trailer bearings for the 1st time and I noticed as I was pumping grease in it was the old grease was coming out the back of the spindle and I just wanted to make sure this is ok? if it is ok I assume I should keep filling till I see new grease coming out of that hole..

There are only 3 ways that grease will come out on an EZ Lube axle.
1) You pump it in and it oozes out of the hole in the shaft to lubricate the bearings (normal operation). But you wouldn't see it because the hub/drum would be installed
2) It comes out the back of the hub meaning you blew a seal (seal needs to be replaced, use double lip seals)
3) It comes out where you are pumping it in because the hub/drum is full (if you see new grease then you are good to go)
When adding grease the hub/drum, bearings, everything, needs to be installed on the spindle. Adding grease would be the last step. You also have to make sure that any new grease you use is compatible with the old grease. If not and you do not clean away all of the old grease first, it can cause the grease to degrade quickly. I have included a link to our help article on grease for you.
