Replacement RV Step With Covered Motor for Winter Travel

Is there another cover that gets installed over the motor and internal parts? I travel in the winter and if thee is no cover it will end up full of salt.

The Lippert Components Kwikee 28 Series # LC3747453 only has the step that retracts to cover the motor, linkage, and control module. Although this isn't a perfect seal, it will keep the large debris out but salt will find its way in.
If you don't need the 7 inch drop, we do have the 5 inch drop # LC353620 or # LC353542 which have the motor covered. You can see the measurements for these on the product page to assist with compatibility.
