Question:
500L Fiat 2015 or 16 Will it need to be a shift type or can it be an automatic

Expert Reply:
All of the base plates for the 2015 and 2016 Fiat 500L only fit models with a manual transmission so I checked the owner's manual online and found that models with an automatic transmission cannot be flat towed but they can be dolly towed at the front.
The Roadmaster # RM-2050-1 would be perfect. It has electric brakes so to utilize them your RV would need to have a brake controller.
As long as your Fiat 500L has the 205/55-16 tire size you can use either dolly. Anything larger than a 16 inch wheel and it won't fit on this dolly.
