Question:
Can you please help me connecting a Primus IQ to a new Chevrolet Traverse 2018? I found under the dash 4 Blunt cut wires with the following colors and specs from owners manual: . Blue: “To Trailer” . Red/Black or Red/Blue: Battery Feed . White/Blue: Brake Apply Signal . Black: Ground Can you confirm the matching colors with the Primus IQ harness? And whats the best way to make the connection, butt splice connectors? Do I need something else? Thanks for your help

On your Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160, the blue wire is for brake output, the red wire is for the brake light switch on the vehicle, the black wire is for 12V power, and the white wire is for ground. Based on the functions you found listed for the factory wiring on your 2018 Chevy Traverse Limited, the following connections will be made when installing this brake controller:
Blue wire on Traverse to Blue wire on brake controller
Red/Black or Red/Blue wire on Traverse to Black wire on brake controller
White/Blue wire on Traverse to Red wire on brake controller
Black wire on Traverse to White wire on brake controller
Using butt connectors like # 05731-5 will work great for making these connections.
