Good morning, can you tell me if hitches will require any cutting of the bumper/ rear diffuser on a stock 2016 golf R Thanks

We have two hitches from EcoHitch and one from Curt that fit your 2016. From EcoHitch one is a 2 inch, part # 306-X7332, and the other is a 1-1/4 inch, part # 306-X7333. I recommend the 2 inch because it's compatible with more accessories than the smaller hitch is. Both of them do require trimming to the fascia.
The Curt is part # C11564 and it is also a Class I 1-1/4 hitch and also requires trimming.
