Question:
I cannot figure out how to install a third brake light on my century truck cap. How do I locate the proper wire that will turn on the brake light without it flashing. Thanks for your help.

In order to add a 3rd brake-only light to your truck cap you will use a tail light converter to separate out the brake signal from the combined brake/turn signal circuits on your Canyon.
If the truck does NOT have LED tail lights use part # 118158 or part # C56196.
These converters connect to the left and right combined stop/turn circuit wires (yellow and green, respectively). The red wire on the converter's output side delivers a brake-only lighting signal you can use for your 3rd brake light. This circuit will not blink when your turn signals are activated.
If you have a 7-way and you want to avoid cutting into the truck's wiring to obtain the combined signals you can use part # 20140. This simply plugs in at the back of your 7-way and gives you access to the left and right stop/turn signals that will be fed to the input side of the converter, to its yellow and green wires. You can use butt connectors # 05731-5.
