Recommended Hitch, Bike & Cargo Rack Options For Keystone Passport Trailer

Question:

I have a 2017 Keystone Passport 2670BH that I would like to add a hitch to for a bike rack or maybe a cargo rack. What products, if any, do you carry that would be applicable? Thanks in advance.

For your 2017 Keystone Passport, I recommend the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703. This adjustable trailer receiver hitch will work well for you because its designed for use on trailers like your Keystone Passport and can be bolted to the vehicle frame or welded on for a no-drill application. The maximum tongue weight capacity is up to 350 lbs, and the maximum gross trailer weight capacity is up to 3,500 lbs. (Confirm the trailer hitch weight capacity against the weigh capacity of your Keystone Passport).

All non-trailer loads like the bike rack or cargo carrier that you need that is applied to this product, must be supported by auxiliary stabilizing straps # 18050

The main hitch body tube can be trimmed so the ends are flush with the frame brackets. After trimming, coat the bare metal with paint to protect against rust and corrosion. If welding this hitch, all welding surfaces must be cleaned to bare metal or the weld will not be the required strength and may void the warranty.

The Swagman Trailhead 4-Bike Rack # S63381 is a great addition for your Keystone Passport. It has a carrying capacity of 4 bikes and a weight capacity of 100 lbs, with a per-bike limit of 35 lbs.

I also recommend the Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # C18110. This product features a bolt-together assembly and the hitch bolt and clip are included. I recommended this carrier because the weight capacity appears to be in alignment with your hitch's weight capacity. The weight capacity is up to 300lbs and the weight of the carrier is 30 lbs.
