Compatibility of Curt Hitch # C14006 on 2016 Chevy 1500 with Service Body

Question:
We just purchased a 2016 Chevy 1500 with a Knapheide EC-Series service body. I need to get a hitch on there and just want to make sure everything will fit correctly. Do you have dimensions on item #C14006? I could measure it up if I need to. Or if you know it waont be a problem, even better! Thank you for your help!

Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Class IV # C14006 is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Chevy 1500 frame. The Service Body shouldn't change the hitch mounting locations unless it has a mount in that area for some reason. I have attached photos of the dimensions to assist and have also attached a video of the installation on a factory body model to assist.
