RE: Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22inch to 72inch Wide Item # 13703 what is the width of the mounting flanges? is this the space needed on the frame to mount it? what is the weight of this produce? what is the weight capacity for a receiver mounted cargo carrier? is a stabilizer strap required for a cargo carrier or bike rack? main purpose is to carry a 100 pound generator and fuel on back of R Pod 179 travel trailer. Will this hitch work?

I attached a picture that should cover all of the flange dimensions you could want for the Curt multi fit hitch # 13703. You'd need 12 inches of space on the frame for the hitch to fit.
The weight of the hitch is 98 lbs. If you carry a bike rack or cargo carrier you will need a stabilizer strap like part # 18050. If you use the strap this would easily carry a 100 lb carrier and generator as it has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity.
