I have a 2017 Dodge Ram Cummins Turbo Diesel-Short Bed. Looking at the BandW Patriot 18k Slider Hitch but am curious to which rails to go with? Looking at either: RP56009-53 Or: BWRVK2602

The great thing about the B and W Patriot slider hitch part # BWRVK3270 is that it's designed to fit industry standard fifth wheel rails. So either kit you mentioned will work. The B and W Custom install kit part # BWRVK2602 or the Reese kit part # RP56009-53. Both kits are confirmed fits for your 2017 Ram 2500 short bed without the factory rail kit.
