If your weight capacity is 3,100 lbs then you probably have a 3,500 lb axle on your trailer. Since your trailer is a boat trailer I recommend going with a galvanized hub like part # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K for an EZ Lube hub or part # AKIHUB-545-35-G-K for a standard hub.
Both of these hubs have an # L68149 inner bearing and an # L44649 outer bearing along with a grease seal that has a 1.719" inner bearing. If you can confirm that your current hub has these bearings/seal and utilizes a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern then either hub is a great replacement for you. The galvanized finish helps them to last longer against the water.
If you have a different axle capacity then let me know and I can make a different recommendation if need be.
