Question:
As shown in your video, step requires a movement upward to close step. So what distance between step and door wall is right in closed position

When the Lippert Manual Pull-Out Step # LC432678 is in the closed position, or with the step pushed in it measures 6-3/4 inches from where it mounts to the very bottom of it, and then when open it measures 8-1/4 inches.
