How to Tell if the Pull-Out Step for RVs # LC432698 Will Fit a 2014 Cedar Creek 38CK 5th Wheel

Updated 06/23/2020 | Published 06/06/2018

Question:

I have a 2014 38CK Cedar Creek 5th wheel, and Im looking to replace my all steel 4-step system. Is the one you show made by Lippert, and will it fit easily without modifications. Will the aluminum be as strong as the all metal ? I think the one thats on there now from the factory is made by Flexco.

Most aftermarket RV steps will replace the OEM steps without modification. The same is the case for the Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step for RVs # LC432698 that you referenced. These steps do have a weight capacity of 300 lbs so they are pretty sturdy.

I am attaching some photos that give the different dimensions of this step. You can use these to compare them with your current steps and brackets for fitment. If they happen to not have the same mounting dimensions you can always have the Lippert Outriggers # LC301704 installed which will give you the proper mounting locations.

good day. I am looking to replace my three step with a four step as the rise on my three step system is about 9.5 inches. I have measured the outside of what looks to be my current frame and it is 27.5 inches. I cannot find any real stamps just a big USA in the back when I look in from the steps. is there a stamp with the manufacturer or model on my current system that you can tell me to look for? My rv is a 2020 grand design reflection fifth wheel model 303RLS. thanks in advance.

We have one 4-Step assembly available that uses a 27-1/2" mounting bracket with the TorkLift GlowStep # TLA8004. Based on the spacing you measured this should work perfectly. If you can email me a picture of your existing steps perfectly I may be able to decipher what brand/model they are, but I'm not sure where else you could look for a number or manufacturer printing.
