will this fit the referenced ventline model # v2119? Also,is it dark enough to keep out the sunlight?

We do have the correct cover for your Ventline V2119 but the Vent Cover # BBC-0530-04 that you referenced is not it. This vent cover has a continuous hinge on it whereas the one you are looking for does not.
The cover you are needing instead is the Replacement Dome Assembly # BVD0449-A03. This fits your V2119 model so that you will have the assembly part # V2119-603-00.
This cover is darker than the blue/grey cover that you referenced and it will do a good job at keeping sunlight out although it is more like sunglasses than a solid cover. I have attached a review video for you to check out so you can see this feature.
