There's no harm in putting tires with a higher load range on your trailer when replacing them. With that being said there's no gain either. At least not from the load range. The tires technically have a higher capacity but that isn't going to increase the capacity of your trailer because you're still limited by whatever component has the lowest rating. As long as you still keep the trailer within its capabilites the higher rated tires will work just fine for you.

I'm guessing your tire size is 225/55-12 like part # AM1HP60 since you said load range E is all that's available. If this isn't the case let me know what size you have and I'll make a specific recommendation.

The Taskmaster Providers, part # TTWTRTM2257515D, are a great tire in load range D. The Provider tires have a similar tread to passenger car tires to help with traction in wet conditions. They're also rated up to 81 mph which is a higher speed rating than a lot of trailer tires. If you do prefer the load range E tires I recommend the Westlakes, part # LHWL304. The biggest benefit you get from Westlakes tires is the roadside assitance that is included for 2 years.
