Can I use this in reverse to actually move my trailer 4 inches forward ?

I spoke with a representative of B&W who told me that you should not use the 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # BWGNXA4085 in reverse to move your trailer forward. The offset ball is only designed to be used as an extension to give you 4" of additional clearance and not the other way around.
