Will air lift 500 air bags fit with a Reese 16k custom bracket fifth wheel hitch together?

Yes, you can use the Air Lift air bag helper springs # AL88398 on your 2005 Ford Super Duty with the Reese custom 5th wheel kit installed. But there are some things to keep in mind. It looks like the custom Reese kits for your truck include a bolt that goes through the center of each bracket and a block on the inboard side of the frame.
This air bag kit uses the same hole and it is permissible to have both installed at the same time since the air bag brackets will be on the opposite side of the frame. If at all possible you will want to continue to use that block which may require leaving out some of the washers for the air bag kit.
