Question:
I have factory crossbars 3 and Yakima J cradle. I want to carry 2 sit-on-top kayaks. Is RR-RUSL Load Assist compatible with Yakima J cradle? Also is RR-RUSL compatible with RR570 Nautic Kayak Carrier?

Expert Reply:
The Rhino-Rack Universal Load Assist # RR-RUSL comes with several clamps to fit various crossbars but Rhino-Rack does not call out any factory crossbars specifically. Basically you would compare the clamps in the picture I have included to the crossbars on your vehicle as well as the linked instructions to determine if any are a match for the shape of the factory crossbars. I am confident that at least one of the designs will fit with little to no modification required.
Once installed it would work well with a Rhino Rack kayak carrier part # RR570 or the Yakima J style rack you have.
