Is Redarc Tow-Pro Elte Brake Controller a Good Brake Controller for 2017 Audi Q7
Updated 04/24/2018 | Published 04/23/2018 >
Question:
My Q7 has the Wiring harness already. I like the idea of the neatness of the REDARC system. Do you think this is the best for the Q7? Is there room under the Dash/Firewall for the actual hidden unit to be Screwed in ? Will I need adapting Parts from VW/Porsche to plug the system in ? As needed with other units

Helpful Expert Reply:
The REDARC Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED44FR can be installed in your 2017 Audi Q7 but you will need additional harnesses only from Audi to complete the install. We don't have specific fit info for the knob or module on your vehicle as we've haven't installed it on your vehicle yet but I am very confident it can be installed on your vehicle one way or another.
You'll need (qty. 1) #1J0-972-782 housing and (qty. 2) #000-979-228 wire/terminal assemblies. Please see the Tech Bulletin down below for more info.
